Does Access to Condoms Lead to Irresponsible, Dangerous and Bad Behavior?

Our world today is full of unsolved problem and controversial issues. Most of it related to our morals, religion, economic and social issues. One of the issues we are facing today is “does access to condoms lead to irresponsible, dangerous and bad behavior?” In that case, I strongly disagree because condoms are considered as one of the best birth control, life saving from diseases and most effective contraceptives which has only 2% bad effects

I personally think, teens being access to condom is good because it reduces or prevent teen pregnancy among teenagers. They are 99% safe incase of preventing unwanted pregnancy. Statistics shows that 84 out of 1000 teenagers get pregnant because of unprotected contraceptives during sexual interaction, that’s why it indicates that teenagers need condoms to be safer in preventing unwanted pregnancy. For instance, a lot of teens can be irresponsible, dangerous, or have a bad behavior but not all of them who are having access to condoms is not a bad thing because if they are having sex at least they’re going to be safe about it. More over, taking risk of preventing unwanted pregnancy is a responsible thing because person who is using condoms during sexual interaction knows how to take risk of unwanted things that will happen in the future and they know how it badly affects in our economic societies. The most essential thing is it’s better to use condoms during sexual intercourse than to abort a child right? It is better to take responsible for your actions at the early stage or point than to commit a crime. I agreed that getting protection makes you more responsible. I also agreed that it is more embarrassing to be pregnant and have to go out inn public when you’re teenager. That’s why teenage moms are more irresponsible of handling their children because they used to be an unwanted teenage pregnant because they don’t used protection and they aren’t ready to be committed on that situation.  A person who access in condoms is responsible and wise enough for knowing what would be the consequences.

I believe that when you used condoms you are being responsible for your own health because access to condoms is another way of preventing these endless diseases. For instance, it prevents sexually transmitted infections such as HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), STD (sexually transmitted disease) and AIDS (acquired immune disease syndrome). According to 2008 report by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) , correct and consistent use of latex condoms reduces the risk of HIV or AIDS  transmission by approximately 85% relative to risk when unprotected, putting the infection rate at 0.9% per 100 person per year with condom, down from 6.7% per 100 person per year. Analysis published in 2009 from the University of Texas Medical branch and the World Health Organization found similar risk reductions of 85-90%. Base on 2008 NIH review concluded that condom use significantly reduces the risk of gonorrhea for men. A 2006 study reports that proper use of condom decreases the risk of transmission of human virus to women by approximately 70%. Another study in the same year found consistent condom use was effective at reducing transmission of herpes simplex virus-2 also known as genital herpes, in both men and women

There are almost one million Americans who are infected with HIV. As a result of this HIV/AIDS prevention has become important than before. For keeping away from HIV and STD infection is to use condom during sex. It can be called “protected sex”

I can barely say that access to condom does not lead to dangerous matter because according to www.wikihow.com/protect-against-an-STD “breakage is not the primary cause of condom failure, in fact, many study says that the breakage for condoms is 2% at most”. It is really safe to use condom for preventing some unwanted things or things that may cause problems. The harmful or main problem of condom failure is improper use of it.

According to www.condom4life.org, providing access to birth control empowers women with more control over their bodies. Historically women have often suffered more because of restrictive policies related to reproduction (abortion laws, restrictions on birth control purchases, parental consent policies). Men often don’t have to face the consequences of their actions. Condom distribution encourages the responsibility of men and increases choices for women. It can also establish condom use as the norm, not something that women continually have to negotiate, often from a position of weakness.

One of the most important factors in accessing condom; it helps in the progress of our country. Providing condoms to students is a wise investment of government funds. A lot of money spent by our government each year for our public health problems created by unprotected sex. The cost of raising of many children created through unintended pregnancies over a lifetime can declined our economic growth.

In conclusion, using condom effectively and correctly is a responsible thing that a person can access. For clarification it is not a bad behavior at all because you behave for your own good and it is morally pragmatic thing to do. So people you have to wake up face the reality and clear your thoughts that access to condom does not lead to irresponsible, dangerous and bad behavior. Indeed it is a life saver and it protects you all the time

Does access to condoms prevent teen pregnancy?

Access to condoms alone doesn’t prevent teen pregnancy. It don’t protect you against pregnancy it only encourages underage sex and instead of thinking  about all the consequences  , more and more teen are becoming  sexually active without completely understand   the precautions  and bad effect when doing so. Now a days, most of the teen want to try everything new and nothing covered up this is why pregnancy is such a big problem in our society. Furthermore, many people believe that implementation of sex education in schools and a proper guidance of the parents to their children can reduce teen pregnancy  and the children are aware about condom not to used  it because they know and understand that using condom is not safe there’s a risk behind that. The easiest way to prevent pregnancy is to not sex at all.

Again, I am definitely disagree about accessing condoms alone can prevent teen pregnancy. Educating the children on how and why to use condoms will help prevent teen pregnancy. As teen, pregnancy now accounts for 70% of all pregnancy are obvious that using condom encourage much younger children to have sex. In addition, statistics sat that now 7 out of 10 senior high schoolers  have had multiple sex partners  and 5 out of 10  junior high schoolers have also had multiple  sex partners. In other words, our society  , parents and schools  should build a solid foundation about accessing to condoms  because some teens definitely  end up pregnant.

There is always the risk when using condoms. The reason are inconsistent use of it , condom breaks during  sex , condom was not manufactured properly  , expiration date has passed and ripping during  use and it can cause teen pregnancy. In addition, using oil-based lubricants can weaken  the latex  , causing the condom  to break. Condoms can also weakened by exposure to heat or sunlight or by age , or it can be torn  by teeth or fingernails. Moreover, the researcher has shown that rates of breakage, caused by fault in the condom itself, are less than 2 condoms out of every 100 condoms. Studies also indicate that condoms slip of the penis in about 1-5% of acts of vaginal intercourse and slip down. In addition, a major factor that can lead to a condom breaking or slipping  of during sex is it’s  size this can affect how easy it is to put on and likely it is to stay on.

Thousands of teenagers in our country putting themselves at risk for pregnancies because curiosity of using condoms. Some people may argue that condom distribution is a misguided solution due to the fact that it influences sexual promiscuity. It seems that after all it turns out to be not all that helpful. In my opinion, is tat easy access to condoms does not prevent pregnancy; In fact, it only makes it worst. In the times when contraceptives were either non-existent or ineffective. It is understood that the consequences of accessing condoms is very unpleasant. In other words, our society need to teach them out to get away with premarital sex  so that teenagers are not force to use condoms. It is immature and immoral to access condoms easily in order not to be pregnant.

Teenagers engaged in premarital sex it’s because they are very curious and they want to explore something new. For instance, there are teens out there that don’t know about condoms and where to get them for free then they shouldn’t be having sex to begin with. Condoms needs not only be accessible but obtainable. For example, young girls in the rural area, at parties and in malls, without them fully understand that what they see on TV is just an act. Moreover, teens need to understand the dignity and sanity of their own body and in doing so , they will think twice before  going to bed  and finding themselves pregnant. Indeed of, Schools, Society and their parents need to educate  their children  how to use condom at the right age, sex education  should come from parents  having a vested interest  in helping their kids  make good informed  in that  matter. Truly, the problem is that the teenagers are very impulsive and lack of ability to understand the long term effect.

In conclusion, teenagers should not be having sex at all. Schools need to stop trying to hide the issue and make the decision at least provide some means of  protection. Though this may hold some truth, teenagers are maturing faster. If they are educated well enough on all possible options teens are very capable of making decisions even though  such things are supposedly influencing them. One thing teenagers cannot stand if someone is telling them why should do; therefore just educate them on every means of protection.
